Dear NHS Professional,

This platform was born from a deeply personal experience. As the husband of a Consultant Anaesthetist in the NHS, I witnessed firsthand the frustration and anxiety that comes with navigating the complexities of NHS pensions, tax implications, and career decisions.

I watched my wife struggle with the ever-changing pension landscape, particularly during the McCloud remedy period. Even specialist accountants admitted the system was a minefield. The breaking point came when we realised that getting clear, timely information from the NHS was like trying to solve a puzzle with missing pieces.

What struck me most was the irony: here were highly skilled medical professionals, making life-saving decisions daily, yet forced to spend countless precious hours trying to understand their financial future. Hours that could be better spent with patients, family, or simply recovering from demanding shifts.

The final straw was watching my wife agonise over whether to take on additional sessions, not because of the clinical load, but because of the tax implications and pension complexity. That's when I knew something had to change.
